Bay of Bengal Condition
Southwest monsoon is likely to set in the whole country during(29th of May – 3rd of June). Two low pressure areas may form over the Bay of Bengal and one may further intensity into a Depression. During this period, monsoon will be moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
Rain Condition and Rainy Days
Rain or thundershowers are likely below normal in Magway, West Bago Regions and Rakhine State and about normal in naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay,East Bago , Yangon ,Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.
Rainy days are expected about (22) to (28) days in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady ,Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Southern Shan, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States, about (15) to (21) days in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region and Northern and Eastern Shan, Chin, Kayah States and about (8) to (14)days in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions.
